The Alternative List

This is our alternative list, feel free to browse for an item - but if anything takes your fancy please check that it is still available by contacting our gift list person at: wedding-list@niddler.com. Even this list is in two parts: things we DO want and a short list of things we definitely do NOT want (because we already have them).

Things we would like, please!

Aspire Magazine Rack	One for the loo and one for the living room! If you don't know who Aspire are then contact the wedding list administrator for details!	2
Board games	We're not bored (no pun intended) yet but don’t have many games to play with our friends when they come round so why not help us out! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE contact the wedding list administrator before you buy these - we'd hate to end up with 3 monopolies! (well, 3 of the board game)	Lots!
Candles	You can never have too many candles!	Any
Carving knife	Matthew carved the turkey at Christmas for the first time this year and feels he ought to get his own knife for it to make him a 'proper man'	1
Ironing board	Allegedly used for holding clothes that are in the process of being ironed, much more amusing when in the hands of someone who doesn't know how they work - sadly this is neither Anna or Matthew as they can both handle one (when they have to!). We're not big ironing people but don't have one at the moment and they're always handy.	1
Knife block	Must have a hole for a steel which is 25cm long	1
Steam iron	Plug it in, fill it up and then press it on stuff to make it flat, might end up being used more for artistic endeavour than actual ironing but still very useful. Matthew might turn over a new leaf and start ironing his work shirts. Maybe.	1
T&G Fusion Mill Salt & Pepper Grinders	We've seen these in John Lewis and think they're fantastic!	1
Tea towels	Strange name really - they don't have much to do with tea, anyway we'd like some more as the ones we've got are getting on a bit.	Any

Things we DON'T want

Not a slur on anyone who gave us these things for Christmas, it's just that we already have them and don't need any more!

MUGS!	We both have quite a few and so are going to combine our collections to make an enormous cupboard full!	None, Please!
Picture frames	Anna's got more than Ikea, come to think of it - that's where most of them came from!	None, Please!
Vases	We got a bunch of these for Christmas and so are now all vase'd-up!	None, Please!

Before you buy

We'd like to make sure we don't end up with five items all the same (except with things like wine glasses where it's a reasonably good idea for them to be all the same) so if you could contact our wedding list administrator BEFORE you make a purchase that would be much appreciated.
